20-HOUR COURSE FOR 20 PARTICIPANTS  

OBJECTIVE TO PRODUCE TWO BIG PIECES IN THREE SECTIONS OF 1,20m EACH,  WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF THE STUDENTS.  

ONE TO BE KILN ON A PAPER KILN AND THE OTHER ON A ELECTRIC KILN.

1st Day  August the 1^st- 2003 Friday

• 9AM Slideshow - of paper kiln

• 10AM to 12AM  Begin the sculpture

• 2PM   Resume work

• 5PM   Video - big scale sculptures, outdoor -firing  

2nd Day  August 2^{nd -} 2003 Saturday

• 09PM  Slideshow - low fire pieces , burnishing and engobes.

• 10PM to 12PM  Work on the sculpture

• 02PM  Engobes's preparation and working on the sculpture 

• 05PM  Video - Kilns in Africa and India 

3rd Day  August 3^rd- 2003 Sunday

• 09PM  Slideshow - Heloisa Alvim work

• 10PM  To engobe and polish the sculptures

• 02PM  finishing the big scale sculptures,  receive the diploma and the end of the workshop
